Responsible for collecting all the needed data for the monthly payroll including overtime, incentives, loans, if any. Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers. Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Ensures payroll records meet exact taxation and labor law compliance standards. Maintains employee confidence by keeping information confidential. Processes and monitors all staffing changes including new hires, transfers, leavers, and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements. Advises employees and managers on payroll issues as the first point of contact for inquiries. Makes all final settlements to leavers and separates their payments in the payroll sheet. Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns. Handles bank account openings for new hires. Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. 1 to 5 years of related experience required in payroll functions. Previous background and experience in ERP modules and/or payroll software. Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. Very good organizational skills and attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and related payroll software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
