Skill Required: Acts as a key leader in the development and execution of software quality methods and processes. Typically responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards.
- Develop, execute, and document software test plans using both automated and manual testing to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Assist with transforming manual test documentation into automated test scripts.
- Present progress and results of automated testing efforts to appropriate teams
- Continuously improve upon the productivity and efficiency of our testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques.
- Utilizes test standards, procedures and functional specifications for approaches.
- Setup/configure/maintain automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting.
- Stay current on new technologies and best practices as appropriate.
- Coach, mentor, and support other software quality engineers. Communicate effectively, manage conflict amongst team members, and remove impediments.
- Angular, Spring Boot, JAVA, SQL, Oracle Cloud, CI/CD/CT Testing Automation
- Ability to create test scripts.
- Ability to automate and coordinate large cross-opco testing outcomes.
- Good Communication and Collaboration (aka mentoring) skills
- Skilled in automated testing tools
- Analytically compare and contrast business processes to testing business process outcomes.
- Statistical measurement analytics and alerting automation creation
- Absence of pattern observation awareness for transactional flow
- Familiarity with ephemeral testing
- Systems thinking problem exploration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems
- Three years coding experience in a professional environment OR Formal completion of a bootcamp certification and two years’ work experience in operations, business or technical field.
- Automation, JavaScript, API, Selenium, Linux,
- DevOps, Github Actions / Jenkins, Cyprus, Cassandra, or Oracle SQL
- TDD, BDD
