We help businesses maximize their tax credits and support innovation through effective claim preparation and submission. Our expert team ensures compliance and accuracy in all SR&ED claims, working closely with clients from various industries. Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This in-office position requires a proactive professional to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth through SR&ED consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of consultative sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping businesses access government funding for R&D initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, providing education on SR&ED tax incentives.
- Conduct client meetings to assess eligibility for SR&ED claims and present service offerings effectively.
- Collaborate with technical and financial teams to ensure proper qualification and submission of SR&ED claims.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools.
- Stay informed about SR&ED regulations, industry trends, and government funding programs.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a consulting, financial services, or technical sales environment.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales processes and relationship-building strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SR&ED claims and tax credit consulting is an asset but not mandatory.
