You’ve likely never heard of us, and that’s because we do our job very well. We are in the business of providing administrative services to professional and trade associations, societies, regulated health professions and member groups. Many member organizations and associations are run by volunteers who are busy operating their own businesses. That’s why their members hire our firm to manage their organizations on their behalf, freeing up the time of volunteer board members. The Role As we continue to grow our business, we are seeking an Associate Executive Director to join our team. In this role you will work in a team environment providing the best possible service to a select group of clients. You will be responsible for the entire client relationship, engaging with other staff to manage client workflows, creating and managing client budgets, and working with board members to ensure the success of their association. Salary will be proportional to experience. Responsibilities The person filling this role will provide ongoing daily support to a select group of clients in member management, meeting coordination, government relations, board governance, and special projects in support of board or committee initiatives. The person in this role reports directly to the President, Pathfinder Group. This role will be perfect for you if you have most, if not all, of these skills or attributes:
- A post-secondary education in Business, Public Policy, Administration, or another relevant discipline would set you up for success in this role.
- A minimum of five years’ experience working with nonprofits or health regulatory colleges.
- A track record of building strong, collaborative, and positive working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in group facilitation, planning or leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of budgets and financial statements
