Job Title: Vice President of Sales (Canada) Reporting To: President Role Overview: The Vice President of Sales is a key leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team. This individual will play a strategic role in expanding the company’s market presence, optimizing sales operations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, all while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set annual sales goals and forecasts.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Sales Account Managers to achieve and exceed targets.
- Foster professional growth through training, feedback, and performance management.
- Promote a collaborative and accountable sales culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Actively engage in resolving customer issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Represent the organization in client meetings and negotiations.
- Oversee the creation and management of sales reports, budgets, and dashboards.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of sales quotes and customer orders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze sales processes to identify areas for efficiency and improvement.
- Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards across sales activities.
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior sales management or leadership role, preferably in the aerospace or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Understanding of the Aerospace expendables c-class market is required.
- These are parts or materials used in the aerospace industry that are consumed during use or have a short lifespan.
- Examples include fasteners (bolts, screws, rivets), gaskets, seals, adhesives, tapes, and other small parts that are crucial but not reusable.
- They are essential for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) in aerospace.
- In supply chain management, parts are often categorized as A-Class , B-Class , or C-Class based on their value and usage:
- A-Class : High-value, high-priority items (e.G., engines, critical avionics).
- B-Class : Medium-value, moderately critical items.
- C-Class : Low-value, high-volume parts, often consumables or expendables.
- C-Class parts are low-cost but essential for assembly, production, and repairs. They require efficient procurement and inventory management due to their volume.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace products and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in business math for margin and ROI analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding goals.
- Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
