Mechanical Designer/Draftsman

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Designer/Draftsman to join our dynamic team at 2000 Workshop W,L,L. You will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for our steel fabrication and machine shop projects. Responsibilities:

• Create detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Perform design calculations and analyses to optimize component performance and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials and manufacturing instructions
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components and assemblies
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality control teams
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers.

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
