Job Purpose The MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) represents a strategic market for Recordati Rare Diseases. Today, we are expanding our presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of new offices, marking an important milestone in our journey of long-term growth. By combining our global expertise with the richness of opportunities in the region, we aim to create meaningful value for local communities while reinforcing our position as a key international player. Medical Science Liaison acts as a conduit of information, clinical trials, activities, and therapeutic approaches. Taking the leadership in the interactions with the external key stakeholders and being the main source of Real-Life Medicine and SEEs insights from the field to the brand team. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop peer-to-peer scientific relationships with medical experts.
  • Liaise with and provide up-to-date medical information and data to health care professionals and to internal cross-functional colleagues.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively improve the patient and caregiver experience.
  • Deliver on everyday executional excellence and commit to ongoing professional growth and development to meet our patient-driven purpose.
  • Actively participate in the development of the medical community throughout the product's life cycle management.
  • Provide healthcare professionals and decision makers accurate, balanced, and timely answers to requests for information.
  • Work closely with the Medical Manager & the clinical team to coordinate phase IV clinical projects in the field and facilitate the submission of ISSs.
  • Support commercial team activities by serving as a product expert in handling objections during the training sessions.
  • Be the main source of Real Life Medicine and SEEs insights from the field directly to the brand team.
  • Actively participate in key medical and scientific conferences by staffing medical information booths and gathering intelligence on competitors.
  • Receive, report adverse events, and transmit internally according to the company procedures.
Required Education Medical Doctor, Pharmacist or high scientific level. Required Skills And Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years+ experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison.
  • Good planning, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent influencing & communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in full autonomy or as part of a larger team.
  • Scientific Engagement with KOLs.
  • Scientific Education and Training.
  • Clinical and Medical Research Support.
  • Market Intelligence and Insights (Collection of Market Insights).
  • Compliance and Ethical Standards (Adherence to Regulatory Guidelines).
