We are seeking an experienced Purchase Officer to manage our procurement activities in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end procurement processes. The candidate should also be familiar with the local market context of the Gulf region.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  2. Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing
  3. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  4. Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement processes align with organizational goals
  6. Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulations, and best practices

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  2. 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Gulf region
  3. Strong negotiation and communication skills
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Familiarity with procurement software and tools
  6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  8. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
