Job Description - Engineer – Gas Business Integration (2400001A) The Engineer – Gas Business Integration will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency across the gas value chain, with a specific focus on LNG operations in addition to upstream non-associated gas production, gas distribution, and midstream LPG production. This role involves analyzing interdependencies, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading strategic projects to optimize the performance of LNG operations as a critical element of the gas business. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to align operations, enhance efficiency, and support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Integration and Efficiency Improvement: Analyze and evaluate the interdependencies between non-associated gas production and LNG operations, as well as between associated gas production and LPG operations. Identify operational inefficiencies within LNG production, storage, and distribution processes and propose actionable solutions to enhance integration and efficiency. Develop and implement projects aimed at optimizing the performance of the entire gas business unit.
- Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to gas business integration, from concept to execution. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Performance Evaluation: Present findings and action plans to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between upstream, midstream, and the manufacturing stream gas unit to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to align objectives and drive value creation.
- Strategic Planning: Support the development of long-term strategic plans for gas integration, including forecasting, capacity planning, and infrastructure development. Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
