Job Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end procurement processes of sourcing, obtaining quotations/bids via invitation to quotes/tenders, evaluation, and purchase orders processing, ensuring compliance with organization Policy & Procedure. Negotiate with vendors for the best price and terms and conditions. Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce overall costs. Convert Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders, ensuring that all necessary documents, correct data, and information are obtained before conversion. Follow up on purchase delivery and monitor outstanding purchase orders. Review and close off all outstanding purchase orders within the expected timeframe. Prepare/review approval papers with users. Ensure all purchasing activities are within approved authorities, compliance, and conformance to governance, understanding the risks of non-compliance. Build strong working relationships, provide procurement support and guidance to business units, and assist in resolving impromptu and urgent user requests. Inventory and Contract Management: Use inventory data to manage stockholdings and economic ordering quantities. Assist in monitoring and reviewing contract compliance. Participate in company yearly Stock Take activities. Manage supplier performance through systematic tracking against pre-determined criteria and identify when corrective action is needed. Other Duties: Assist in arranging Evaluation Committee meetings and taking minutes with Sr Exec. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Business and Administration. 3 years of purchasing-related experience in a mid-size organization; healthcare experience will be an advantage. Ability to interact well with all levels of employees. Good team player. Good written and communication skills. Self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, and able to work under pressure.
