By combining advanced sensor-based technology with practical applications, Greengage enables farmers to make data-driven decisions that improve productivity, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability within the agriculture industry. Position Overview: As their Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for engaging directly with farmers to promote Greengage's unique lighting and sensor-based products, while managing the entire sales lifecycle—from lead identification to ongoing customer support—ensuring customers fully benefit from their advanced technology portfolio. Key aspects of the role include:
- Expanding market presence by appointing agents and distributors across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
- Developing and executing market expansion strategies to build a robust sales funnel and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Leveraging new farm and barn acquisitions to promote induction lighting and sensor systems.
- Staying attuned to market trends to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- A proven track record in sales development, preferably in hardware or agritech systems.
- A strong field presence with experience engaging farmers and conducting on-site inspections.
- A proactive approach to managing the sales lifecycle and a collaborative mindset within a close-knit tech environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits and events.
