We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager for Global Assembly Equipment to join our Global Sourcing & External Manufacturing (GS&EM) Organization. As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of category managers, and your role will involve strategic sourcing and execution for a diverse range of equipment at our Global Assembly & Test Operations sites. You will contribute to a safer, cleaner, and smarter world and onsemi’s exponential growth with your outstanding leadership and expertise! Responsibilities: In this role, you will:

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
• Work with global assembly sites, supply chain organizations, and quality organizations to ensure quality reliable capacity is in place at competitive prices to support strategic goals.
• Drive supplier relationship management; own the commercial interface & partnership with suppliers.
• Build and execute global equipment procurement strategy.
• Partner with a diverse and global stakeholder base to develop sourcing strategies based on business/market intelligence, engineering specification requirements, global demand, and the supply ecosystem.
• Execute global equipment sourcing strategy and drive supply partners’ performance action plans in cost, value engineering, productivity, delivery, quality and technology.
• Lead problem-solving through quantitative thinking and go-getter mindset.
• Structure ambiguous problems and take actions to solve them.
• Work with cross-functional teams and lead problem-solving actions.
• Promote onsemi values through your leadership actions and act as trusted advisor on sourcing strategies for stakeholders including internal and external partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in assembly equipment, assembly operations (FOL / EOL / Final Test), industrial engineering or procurement is required.
• Familiarity with assembly equipment specifications and sourcing process.
• Familiarity with global assembly equipment and spares market landscape.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Fluent oral and written English.
