Project Engineer

Job Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline required.
2. At least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5 years as a Project Engineer.

1. Oversee the planning development and execution of project management activities to ensure effective implementation and successful completion of projects.
2. Ensure continuous monitoring and verification of adherence to the project scope while also conducting a thorough analysis of trends related to project performance across key dimensions such as scope quality schedule and cost.
3. Proactively initiate early intervention strategies informed by project performance analysis to reduce potential cost impacts and optimize opportunities for value creation throughout the projects lifecycle.
4. Monitor and manage deviations and variation orders throughout the project to ensure that any changes or modifications are properly addressed. Proactively work to mitigate and prevent any potential cost exposure associated with these changes or variations to keep the project within budget.
5. Assess the challenges and concerns associated with the project and evaluate the proposed solutions to address these issues.
6. Assist the Project Manager or Project Lead in obtaining approval for essential and critical Project Management documentation ensuring that all necessary approvals are secured in a timely and efficient manner.
