Academic Head (Maths / Science, Primary, Able to work on Tuesday - Saturday)

Job Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure lessons are delivered according to expected standards and desired outcomes through regular class observation and training workshops for teachers and associate teachers (e.g., value-added marking workshops, classroom management, parents management). Maintain close communication with parents through meetings, workshops, and written correspondence (e.g., newsletters). Conduct regular review sessions with the staff team to appraise and provide feedback on work performance and approve leave for teachers. Provide leadership for curriculum innovation, planning, design, and research. Stay current with curricular trends and changes in Singapore, ensuring that changes in MOE guidelines are integrated promptly into the centre’s curriculum. Plan, research, and create innovative programs/materials that align with MOE guidelines and create an enriching experience for the centre’s students. Collaborate with the marketing manager to provide content for marketing materials that promote a strong and unique branding of the centre’s program. Actively scan internal and external environments to identify potential problems and opportunities that can be addressed or capitalized upon to maximize students’ learning experiences. Shape a culture of high competence, commitment, and connectivity. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of education. 3 years of experience in managing a team of teachers. At least 5 years of teaching experience. Able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend (Tuesday – Saturday).
