We are a rapidly growing franchise business with four stores added in less than a year, part of a larger company involved in B2B manufacturing and trading. Located in Mumbai, our company is poised for significant expansion, offering a dynamic work environment with great scope for growth and progress. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team and support our operations. Responsibilities Daily Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records. Invoicing & Billing: Prepare and process invoices, ensure timely billing, and follow up on receivables to maintain healthy cash flow. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments, expense reporting, and customer collections. GST & Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST returns and compliance with all applicable tax regulations. Assist in preparing tax documents and liaising with tax authorities as needed. Tally Operations: Utilize Tally software for all accounting activities, including ledger management, financial reporting, and inventory tracking. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Provide accurate financial data to support decision-making. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Expense Management: Track and manage company expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints and company policies. Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible. Qualifications Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Tally is mandatory. Experience with other accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) is desirable. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data and reporting. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external parties. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
