Job Title: Planning Engineer (Male) Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to define project scope and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation decisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and adherence to schedules.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and improve future project planning.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Use project management software to track and report project timelines.
- Develop contingency plans to address delays and disruptions.
- Review and approve project plans developed by subcontractors.
- Facilitate communication between different project teams.
- Collaborate in the development and preparation of design and planning programs, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Oversee and track project progress, implementing effective monitoring systems to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses on project advancements, highlighting achievements, obstacles, and potential solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist in contract preparation and support various tasks integral to project management and execution.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships, and ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of GCC experience in project planning or management.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in construction or engineering projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and international construction standards.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and construction processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and generate insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in construction.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
- Minimum 5 years GCC experience required.
- Current location can be GCC or India.
