Director - Specialised Finance C&IB Job number: 797544 Primary position location: Victoria Street, VIC- Melbourne CBD, VIC, Australia Category: Corporate & Institutional Banking Work type: Permanent Full time Opening at: Jan 6 2025 at 06:00 AEDT Closing at: Jan 17 2025 at 23:55 AEDT As the Director of Property Development Finance, you will lead funding solutions to customers in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This will include: Support the Property Development Finance Sector Head and Client Directors to meet annual financial and risk goals. The opportunity to recommend program enhancements to improve outcomes. Working within Specialised Finance, which is one part of Corporate and Institutional Banking, servicing existing customers. In this Director role, you will: Manage back book risk in conjunction with internal Client Management and Property Credit teams to ensure transaction risk is appropriately managed. Complete all work requested in relation to progress business strategy, risk management and internal and external communications. Demonstrate your deep understanding of the property market, its key drivers in major property asset classes, and valuations and valuation methodology. Meet financial and risk targets that are set annually. Deliver great customer outcomes. Use your legal skills to negotiate loan documents, securities, leases/AFL and tripartite deeds. Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include: Specialisation in property finance transactions with corporate and institutional customers. Ability to build strong relationships by working collaboratively and influencing stakeholders across multiple layers of the organisation. Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment. Demonstrated ability of structuring and leading complex development transactions from bid to execution. Engage all internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Undergraduate qualifications in property, banking & finance, commerce, accounting or similar.
