We are the leading company in the rubber manufacturing industry and we are looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our financial department.
The Account Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the organization's accounts are in compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and update the general ledger.
Process payments, invoices, and receipts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and tax filings.
Maintain organized and secure financial records, both digital and physical.
Use accounting software to track and analyze financial data.
Respond to queries related to accounts and transactions.
Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions when required.
Payroll Management
Participate in financial analysis and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., ICA, ACCA) are a plus.
3-5 years proven experience as an Account Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 50, QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
