SG Finance & Treasury Limited, based in Dublin 3, is the finance and treasury company of the Schwarz Group. The Schwarz Group is the biggest retail group in Europe. Its two major brands are Lidl and Kaufland, with more than 11,000 stores globally. We are currently looking for a Consultant (m/f/d) to help us meet the strong demand for our financial services within the group. The successful candidate (m/f/d) will be a key member of a strong team and be given the opportunity to grow and develop professionally within the Schwarz Group.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Treasury

• Manage liquidity for the SG Finance & Treasury in collaboration with a variety of international entities from various industries.
• Manage cash pooling activities to optimize liquidity within the group.
• Implement and operate the cash pool.
• Work with the team to manage the group’s intercompany financing.
• Ongoing update of margin concept for internal interest calculation.

Accounting & Controlling

• Accounting for accrued interest, interest income/expenses, bank reconciliation, checking invoices in SAP.
• Month-end closing.
• Analyzing deviations in the P&L results at the end of the month, including commentary.
• Support the annual auditing, including assistance with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CA and/or CPA is desired but not required.
• Excellent English communication skills are required for working with teams and cross-functional partners both internally and externally.
• Competency in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Highly motivated, flexible team player and capable of working in small teams.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high volume and value of transactions.
• Ability to recognize the need to escalate issues as they arise.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• IT proficiency and working knowledge of SAP desirable.
