Lots of opportunity for development: Being an integral part of the Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for not only support and maintenance, but your ideas will also be welcomed on how we can improve the platform ensuring stability, monitoring, and fault resolution. This is an opportunity to promote change and introduce different ways of doing things by supporting users to use the tools to improve productivity and collaboration within MIT. Risk management will be an element of this role as well - identifying areas for improvement to prevent future problems.

• Showcase your skills across multiple technology stacks, with a particular focus on wireless networks and security, as it continues to evolve within MIT.
• Embed new tools and technologies from the Extreme Networks product set.
• Build on your experience and enjoy new technologies.
• Work with a collaborative team where your ideas and knowledge will be welcome to share with others as part of the team's ongoing development.

Āu wheako - Your Experience -

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, wireless, WAN/LAN, radius authentication, and access control.
• Sound security and firewall knowledge and experience: FortiGate would be an advantage.
• Scripting, Automation, Orchestration, Integration, and Packaging experience to manage networking equipment and configuration.
• Experience in Extreme Networks equipment will be an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
