Our client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a knowledgeable Stock Controller to join their team. Please read the requirements carefully prior to applying: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team at our site. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on stock accuracy and inventory control. This role will involve managing incoming goods, performing quality inspections, and ensuring efficient and accurate stock receiving processes. Key Responsibilities: • Handle and manage incoming goods and materials received • Unload and unpack goods received from depots/suppliers • Inspect and verify the condition of goods received • Count and verify received goods • Reconcile goods received against invoices/delivery notes • Communicate any discrepancies in goods received to the Receiving Manager • Perform quality inspections on goods to ensure compliance • Complete Goods Received Notes (GRN) and hand over documents to Inventory Clerk for processing on Sage • Conduct random pallet weight checks to ensure tonnage accuracy • Perform monthly stock takes and ensure stock accuracy Minimum Qualifications & Experience: • Grade 12 (Matric)• Warehousing / Inventory Diploma or Degree (preferred)• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)• At least 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment • Strong attention to detail with a focus on stock accuracy • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Competencies: • Organizational skills • Methodical and efficient approach to work • Stress tolerance and ability to maintain focus under pressure • Strong communication skills • Leadership capabilities to promote teamwork ethics • Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy in stock receipting and stock take
