Laundry Supervisor

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for:Receiving, sorting, and sending all dirty uniforms to Valet for cleaningAllocating equipment to staff, monitoring daily equipment use, cleaning, and maintenanceMaintaining standards and control of discards regularlyProviding training to staff in the laundry/valet to ensure correct equipment use and proper techniques for a superior end resultSupervising the daily activities of the laundry staffOrdering supplies based on approved facility listsAssisting in conducting periodic inventoriesEnsuring housekeepers clean patient bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and showersEnsuring housekeepers empty garbage cans in patient rooms, patient bathrooms, activity areas, and other center areasEnsuring patient areas are clean, including mopping and/or buffing floors, and dusting furniture
