Introduction

We are looking to recruit an Advertising Coordinator to work within our Marketing department. The role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town. Job Purpose: To co-ordinate activities for above the line promotions and ensure that the related processes are maintained and followed as per the promotional calendar. Job Objectives:

• To ensure that the promotional vehicles are created and the required page ownership and marketing instruments are assigned timeously based on agreed calendar.
• To apply the appropriate page layout, design and templates to each leaflet vehicle based on the pre-promotions planning meeting.
• To assign primary and secondary sub-department owners to each promotional offer block.
• To ensure that all promotional offers are completed timeously and consolidate all promotional pages after lock-down and send to the Studio.
• To act as a liaison between the Studio and the Merchandise team in respect of merchandise sign-off to ensure adherence to promotional processes and guidelines.
• To manage the promotional workflow and tasks to agreed timelines.
• To manage the image order process to ensure that images are sourced timeously to ensure promotions are completed based on agreed deadlines.
• To provide administrative assistance in producing minutes, agendas, and reports timeously and accurately.

Education:

• ND. Marketing
