About The Role – SharePoint Engineer - Administration and Development We are seeking a SharePoint Engineer who is passionate and curious about the Microsoft stack and enhancing business productivity through the convergence of people and technology. You must be committed to always delivering value, invested in continuous learning and excited to be part of a knowledgeable, forward-thinking team. As a SharePoint Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing & maintaining SharePoint solutions for our clients
- Preferably you will also have the capability to manage applications across the broader M365 suite including MS Teams, MS Viva, MS Outlook, Entra and Exchange
- Maintenance of a user-friendly intranet and related protocols, procedures and training materials
- Analysis of an organisation's needs in order to contribute towards solution design and implementation
- Managing integrations between SharePoint and other software systems and platforms, creating a seamless work environment
- Managing the storage, access and archival of data within SharePoint
- Monitoring governance of access & data to prevent data loss
- Maintaining information architecture frameworks
- Supporting end user adoption of SharePoint and related M365 solutions
- Supporting the enhancement and maintenance of existing digital information systems in alignment with product roadmaps and organisational needs
- Providing technical support via management of incidents and resolution of advanced technical issues, collaboration with colleagues and vendor teams as needed. Providing swift resolutions and exceptional user follow-up
- Preparing accurate documentation and delivering training to empower users and enhance adoption of SharePoint tools
- 2+ years’ experience in SharePoint administration & development or preferably with the broader Microsoft productivity and modern work suite
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across diverse end-user scenarios
- IT collaborator through working closely with infrastructure, security, EUC, networking and helpdesk teams for effective issue resolution.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and cloud technologies
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication & collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- An understanding of identity management
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
