The Story Our client is undergoing a major transformation, and as part of this journey, they need a Senior QA Engineer who can lead both manual and automation testing efforts. You will have the chance to establish manual testing processes initially, while building towards automation over time. Your role will also involve a strong focus on testing APIs, ensuring the integration and performance of various systems within the company’s tech stack. • Lead manual testing efforts for new and existing systems, focusing on functionality and performance.
• Establish and implement automation testing frameworks over time, using modern tools and techniques.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Work closely with developers to understand system architecture and help diagnose issues.
• Provide feedback on testing results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely bug resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain testing standards and ensure product quality.

Your Fit

• Proven experience in manual and automation testing, with the ability to set up and manage both processes.
• Strong understanding of API testing, including tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages.
• Ability to work closely with developers, understand technical requirements, and implement testing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
