Social Media Manager
Our client, based in Somerset West , is in the retail industry and they are looking to hire a Social Media Manager to join their team as soon as possible. Job Description: As a Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to our online platforms, and ultimately boost sales. Ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and maintain consistency across all social media channels. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to achieve company goals.
- Manage all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Create engaging and relevant content, including posts, images, videos, and stories, tailored to each platform and target audience.
- Monitor social media trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Plan and schedule regular posts and campaigns using social media management tools.
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and platform updates to ensure the company's social media presence remains innovative and relevant.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and advertising tools.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
