Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Engineer - Steel casting foundry at ULTIMATE ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED in Coimbatore. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day quality engineering tasks related to steel casting processes.Conduct inspections of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished castings to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsPerform various tests on materials and products, including mechanical, chemical, and dimensional tests, to verify their properties and performance.Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics, ensuring all data is accurately documented and easily accessibleEnsure that all foundry operations and products comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.Develop and implement quality standards and procedures specific to the foundry's operations, ensuring they align with best practicesInvestigate and analyze defects and quality issues to determine the root causes and implement corrective actions.Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.Handling Internal and external audits, Certification and supplier auditsFoundry, machine shop, Welding inspection activitiesVisual, dimensional InspectionKnowledge required inProduct Quality and Quality Management expertiseExperience in implementing quality control processesKnowledge of ISO standards and quality management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCommunication and interpersonal skillsQualificationsDip or Engineering in Mechanical or related filed"NDT Level II" certificationExperience - 05 - 15 yrs in Foundry IndustrySalary - Up to 4.20 LPAFree AccommodationMail Contact - hr@ultimatealloys.com AGG
