Role Overview:Lead and manage end-to-end operations for Sourcing and Purchasing across business units.Drive strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency, ensuring seamless procurement and robust vendor partnerships. (casting/forgings / machined parts/gears/commercials items and indirect items).Lead cost optimization initiatives, including zero-based costing and market benchmarking, to achieve budget alignment and cost efficiencies.Drive capacity planning and part development programs to support new product launches, localization, and value engineering. Manage sourcing volumes of 1000 crore annually, focusing on high-volume components like castings, forgings, and machined parts. Desired Experience:BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 17 to 25 Years of significant work experience in the engineering sector in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, and Cost Management functions with an overall exposure/handling of procurement / MP&LExposure in high volume component/parts developments with challenging lead time / TATExposure to managing a volume of 100-1500 crores of sourcing & purchase annual valueExposure to handling high volume of casting/forgings / machined parts AGG
