Job Title: Content and Events (Associate)Company DescriptionPeople Matters is a niche media company that engages with thousands of professionals, and business and HR leaders to challenge, transform, and enrich how talent management contributes to business success.Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Content and Events Associate. This role combines the skills of a research-driven, versatile writer with the ability to conceptualise innovative ideas and contribute to physical events and roundtables. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative, driving engagement through written content, and ensuring the successful execution of events that align with our organisational objectives.Key Responsibilities:(1) Content Strategy for Conferences and Events:Ideate and craft compelling content themes and pillars for annual conferences and customised events.Design a content strategy to excite the delegates and draw meaningful outcomes for all stakeholders.Scale content delivery models to create effortless community and partner experience and drive business efficiency.Align and work closely with the Events team, Sales Team, and Conference Sponsors/Partners.(2) Marketing Content for Digital:Design,plan, and lead the conference marketing agenda for annual conferences and customised events.Craft engaging and informative articles, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces that resonate with our target audience.Develop persuasive ideas and concept notes to support business development initiatives - such as LinkedIn Lives, TweetChats and Webinars.(3) Innovative Initiatives at Events:Design concepts and plan for partner-led events, including roundtable discussions, engagement activities.Come up with innovative formats for engaging delegates and participants for events, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for participants.(4) Events Communication Strategy:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy.Ensure consistency in messaging across digital platforms and events.Ensure all partner requirements are followed across digital and social channels. (5) Networking and Stakeholder Management:Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, speakers, and industry influencers.Represent the organisation at events and establish a strong presence within relevant professional communities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a relevant field 1-2 years of proven work experience in research and content marketing (Any exposure in Marketing, HR and corporate communication is an added advantage) Proficient in MS Office and other content management softwareExcellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skillsAbility to build an understanding of readers' preferences, synthesize information, and put across the idea in a clear, concise, and cohesive mannerStrong project management skills including attention to detail, time management, team collaboration, stakeholder engagementAny experience in social media content management is preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team with a total ownership mindsetAbility to manage work under ambiguity and changing priorities at a fast paceSalary: As per market standards AGG
