Food Production General Operative

We are currently looking for a Food Production General Operative to join our multi-award-winning team at our HQ in Irishtown, Clonmel. If you love working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for food, possess strong teamwork skills, take pride in doing your job to a high standard, and want to work for a growing Irish condiment brand, then this could be the job for you! You will be a person who has a minimum of 3 years experience in food manufacturing or a Chef/cook with similar restaurant experience who wishes to transition out of the hospitality hours and hectic service! Your duties are included below, but the list is not exhaustive. We are a small team and expect all members of staff to be team players!

• Prepare daily batches of sauces
• Operate machinery and equipment
• Always follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe food working environment
• Perform quality control checks to ensure food products meet high-quality standards
• Carry out inventory management and look after stock replenishment
• Work in the wash-up area when necessary
• Carry out processing and packing duties as required
• Maintain clean facilities and a clean work environment
• Take ownership of your work
• Must be an excellent timekeeper
• Must meet production targets
• Must have a ‘can do’ attitude
