The Art Director position requires superior aesthetic and design knowledge. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to visualize, design and execute advertising communications in harmony with the Copywriter and in accordance with the brief and deadline. It also involves working efficiently with the Creative Studio and the Account Executives. The Art Director should ensure that the client's desired message and image is conveyed to the target audience. A strong understanding of digital production and social media dynamics is essential. The ideal candidate should know how to take full responsibility for the overall visual style and design aspects of an advertising or media campaign, including images in magazines, newspapers, product packaging, and movie productions. He coordinates the work of other graphic designers who will develop artwork or layouts.Qualifications And Experience2 to 5 years of experience in the advertising industry utilizing digital campaigns with a strong portfolio (with a focus on retail brands, digital activations, and promotional campaigns)BA or equivalent in a design/art-focused majorCreative thinking and ability to generate original and innovative solutions.SkillsAbility to communicate and sell your vision to your peers.Ability to lead and multi-task several projects at once.Creativity seeks out-of-the-box ideas to have impactful campaigns.Conceptual ability - develops concepts individually and as part of a team.Artistic ability - uses his/her sense of style to develop layouts that look great and are aesthetically pleasing.Problem-solving skills - is brand-focused, strong in identifying needs and requirements of the client's objectives.Visualization skills - is proficient in design software with a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness.Attention to detail.Communication & presentation skills.Duties And ResponsibilitiesConceptualizing creative solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent for each assigned project.Leading studio members to execute your creative vision successfully.Ensuring your vision is successfully packaged, aiming to exceed the Client's expectations.Working on the creative development of assigned projects to deliver a high-quality product.Working closely with the Account Manager to ensure you have a complete understanding of the project.Ensuring you have the tools and resources needed to successfully execute the assigned projects.Verifying received creative briefs and signing them.Briefing your designated team members and overseeing their progress on assigned projects.Answering any queries related to the creative development of your assigned project.Reviewing designs from junior colleagues and providing recommendations for improvement.Agreeing on checkpoints with the Account Manager for your assigned projects.Updating the Studio Manager on the status of your ongoing projects.Presenting each creative concept with accompanying rationale.Informing the Account Manager and the Studio Manager of any changes in deliveries or deadlines.Advising the Account Manager on all visual recommendations and/or issues regarding the assigned projects.Positively mentoring and directing junior colleagues.Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.Working according to established policies and procedures.Integrating into the team and contributing to a positive, inclusive work atmosphere.
