Position Overview: Your role will start with contacting potential learners to set up virtual meetings, counsel the learners, and sell/convert to admissions. You will contact warm leads for programs via phone and email, consulting potential students on how our programs can help them achieve their career goals. Outcome measured will be the number of lead conversions/admissions generated. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Sales function, preferably selling Higher Education courses (Inbound Sales, One-on-one selling, Lead generation, and conversion roles). Operational skills / Role expectations:
- Lead Generation, Nurturing, and Conversion.
- Cold calls, direct emailing, and perform other lead generation activities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads that have inquired about our programs.
- Provide in-depth and customized information on courses/programmes to prospective students via phone and email.
- Strong phone presence; comfortable making 120+ dials and/or emails a day to connect with warm leads and to generate further leads.
- Work with prospective learners through the enrolment process by following up and building urgency.
- Ability to build a referral funnel from existing students.
- Close sales and generate conversions to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly quotas.
- Adhere to the inside sales process, data management processes, and workflow.
- Record, track, and report sales activities on a timely basis using the CRM tool.
- Initiate and implement plans to increase sales in coordination with the reporting manager.
- Periodic reports to the reporting manager regarding activities done.
- Provide feedback to leadership on call quality, observed trends, and insights from student conversations.
- Display efficiency in gathering market and customer info to enable product feedback and improve product positioning.
- Thorough understanding of the sales process with a proven track record.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a passion to drive and build sales from a modest starting point.
- MS Office Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and listening skills.
- Good cross-cultural awareness to effectively communicate with customers from various geographies.
- Experience using a CRM.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a large pipeline with different stages in the enrolment process that require follow-up.
- Ability to hit metrics and targets without being micromanaged.
