Who we’re looking for : As our Environmental Coordinator, you are passionate about protecting eco-systems and implementing environmental innovation across a range of projects and sectors. As a natural relationship builder, you will influence Project Managers and external stakeholders to achieve continual environmental improvement, using your excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to:

• Manage the sustainability and environmental aspects and impacts on site in line with best practice principles, and assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the Project Environmental Management Plan and company Environmental Policy and promote a positive sustainability and environmental culture, leading by example and setting best practice standards as ‘business as usual’.
• Ensure compliance with contractual environmental specifications and environmental legislation, environmental approvals and other relevant stakeholder requirements of the project.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with :

• Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Environmental Science / Engineering
• 4+ years in civil construction in environmental management
• Prior experience on major infrastructure projects (Transport, Water, Defence) highly regarded
