SAP Finance (Functional) Specialist

Job Overview

• Undertake SAP Financial configuration for SAP solution enhancements developments.
• Requirements gathering and preparation of system configuration and functional/technical documentation.
• Provide technical and functional support for the Departments SAP Financial modules including Accounts Payable/Receivable, Banking, General Ledger and New GL, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Sales and Distribution, Funds Management, CATS and Material Management (including cPRF).
• Support the Departments bespoke procurement application through the Procurement life cycle from Approve in Principle, Commitment Approval, Contract Registration, and closure of Purchase Order.
• Support multiple interfaces to the SAP Financial system - for example MS D365 & SAP Concur.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in SAP FI, controlling (including Internal Order settlements), Funds Management (PSM-FM), MM, AP/AR, Sales and Distribution, Asset Accounting, GL & NewGL.
• Technical and functional support for End of Financial Year activities.
• Experience with Cross Application Timesheets (CATS) configuration and support.
• Experience in Controlling Settlements (including CATS & Assets Under Construction).
• Demonstrated experience in supporting a bespoke Procurement application throughout the Procurement Life Cycle from Approval in Principle to finalisation of the Purchase Order.
• Knowledge and experience of HR PA functionality (info types used for Committees, Contractor CATS, Concur profiles etc).
• Exposure to and awareness of the functionality available in SAP BTP: Integration suite data flow with SAP Concur and Robotic process automation for Payment Run and Master data changes.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to liaise with Business Analysts and Business SMEs to analyse and confirm detailed requirements.
• Perform unit and system testing on developed solutions, support user acceptance testing, including data conversion/migration, and provide solution go-live and post go-live support.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with SAP HR PA and Organisational Management functionality relating to basic Info Type and Position maintenance used by CA-TS, SAP Concur and SAP workflow.
