The Council is committed to fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and engaging environment for its residents. The Council is seeking a skilled and innovative Manager, Traffic & Integrated Transport to lead the development and implementation of integrated transport strategies, traffic management plans, and car parking policies. Reporting to the General Manager, Urban Planning & Environment, this position will oversee key areas such as on-street parking, local traffic management, road safety measures, and event-related traffic solutions, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and legislation. This is a key leadership role which requires collaboration internally and externally, including elected officials, government agencies, and the community to address traffic-related issues and deliver high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of traffic management and road safety, with a background in traffic engineering and an understanding of local government. You will be a collaborative outcome-focused leader, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Tender and funding submission experience and relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management is critical for your success.
