About the role Put your sales skills to the test as a Key Account Manager at ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company). We are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team based out of Launceston. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing some of our largest existing accounts, winning new business, and expanding our customer base. You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Area Manager and your peer network, you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies. The main focus for this role is driving new business opportunities in order for the branch to grow. You will be highly motivated and target-driven to get results. The ideal candidate will possess a keen willingness to learn with an innate ability to connect with new customers and close sales. You'll have a genuine passion for listening to our customers' needs and providing the best solutions. To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent business development skills
- Proven sales skills
- Innovative and strategic business acumen
- A passion for customer service and building rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working autonomously and within a team
- Well versed in stakeholder management
- Prior experience in the building and construction industry will be highly regarded
