This role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive significant growth initiatives within the Singapore branch, reflecting its pivotal role in the organization's strategic expansion. The Country Head will oversee the credit risk management function supporting the bank's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Credit Risk Management: Collaborate closely with business leaders to influence credit decisions and manage portfolios effectively while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with the CEO, head office, business leaders, and divisional heads to shape and implement the bank’s risk strategy. Risk Culture Development: Foster a strong risk culture by enhancing risk identification, assessment, and prevention capabilities within the bank. Promote resilience and improve training and awareness across the organization. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience: A minimum of 15 - 20 years in Credit Risk, Credit Underwriting or Structuring experience within leadership roles in commercial and corporate banking. Skills: A balanced approach to risk with a keen business acumen, attention to detail combined with a strategic perspective, and exceptional stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
