Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Job Title: Control & Instrumentation Specialist Your new company is a leading provider of comprehensive utility solutions and value-enhanced energy services, delivering innovative and integrated offerings to their customers. This role involves ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of power plant's control systems and instrumentation as part of the Control & Instrumentation team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Respond to plant failures and forced outages, ensuring timely rectification and restoration. Plan and execute plant overhaul activities with a focus on safety and timeliness. Develop and implement modification and upgrading plans to enhance system reliability and availability. Manage procurement and maintenance needs, including spare parts and external services. Lead and develop a team of technical officers and technicians. Demonstrate expertise in Control and Instrumentation, safety, and statutory requirements. Showcase strong work ethics, analytical skills, and communication abilities. Be available for emergency calls and participate in CERT team responses. Requirements: Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Sound knowledge of Control and Instrumentation. Good working knowledge of safety and statutory requirements. Strong work ethics and team player mentality. Analytical, technology, and communication skills. Availability for standby and emergency calls. Knowledge of cyber security (advantageous).
