Make an Impact by: Supporting the Singtel TV broadcast systems for Singtel TV, TV Go, CAST, Singtel Business TV, Optus Sports, and cross-carriage services. Supporting three broadcast data centres onsite/remotely. Monitoring service and system performance – proactive and predictive. Recovering live services – headend, ingest, and playout. Managing major events (EPL, FIFAWC, EURO, national significant broadcast events). Ensuring Ops excellence – IT Disaster Recovery Plan exercises, IMDA regulatory compliance, and Security audit compliance. Managing live content/sports event acquisition via satellite, fibre, and IP delivery. Working closely with project and operations teams, and external parties in problem troubleshooting and resolution. Performing system administration tasks such as system hardening, patch installation, and inventory management. Creating and updating technical reports and system documents. Complying with Singtel workplace safety and health policies. Skills for Success: Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering. 2 years’ experience in the broadcasting/media industry, preferably as a Support Engineer. Good knowledge and experience in: Headend System Operation and Support. Ingest and playout systems. Media asset management systems. Understanding of live and file-based workflows. Operation and maintenance of various SDI and IP-based broadcast systems (e.g., audio/video processors; audio/video broadcast monitors; graphics; subtitling; video routers; video transcoding; decoders; and video compression/transport). Server, workstation, and network troubleshooting and maintenance. IT security compliance. Networking experience, preferably CCNA certified. Able to work independently and as a team player. Able to work under pressure and possesses good problem-solving skills. Proactive, open-minded, and takes initiative to learn and innovate. Possesses a growth mindset and a strong desire to improve operational efficiency. Flexible with work time (able to work on 12-hour shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
