Job Description

We currently have an exciting position available for a Labour Law Consultant, to be based in Kathu , Northern Cape. You are responsible for: Inclusive of, but not limited to:

1. Retaining all clients as well as servicing clients in terms of all Labour Law issues.
2. All clients are contacted/visited as per schedule.

These typical Labour Law issues can range from:

1. Chairing of disciplinary inquiries.
2. Drafting of judgments for clients.
3. Assisting with the issuing of warnings to ensure compliance.
4. Drafting and implementation of contracts and policies.
5. Consulting and solving clients' ever-changing Labour needs.

To more complex issues like:

1. Wage and Union negotiations.
2. Strike Management.

Qualifications

You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:

1. 3 years B. Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field.
2. More than 1 year’s experience in Labour Law.
3. Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of labour law.
4. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
5. Must be able to effectively function within a pressurized and fast-paced environment.
6. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential.
