Manassen Foods is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and driven AR/AP Manager who will predominantly oversee accounts receivable with a supplementary focus on accounts payable. What We Offer:

- Supervise and lead a team of Accounts Receivable and Payable officers.
- Manage customer accounts within assigned channels and maintain an overview of customer accounts assigned to team members.
- Monitor and manage debtors aging to minimise overdue invoices.
- Ensure the timely processing of claims within established time frames.
- Conduct risk assessments of customer accounts (credit limit review, PPSR registration, credit checks).
- Foster and maintain positive relationships between AR/AP and other stakeholders.
- Act as the primary escalation point for issues and concerns related to AR/AP.
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to establish specific, measurable, and achievable metrics for the team.
- Continuously review and improve processes and procedures for optimisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting.
- Experience within the FMCG industry is preferred.
- Experience in successfully managing or leading a team of professionals.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work as an effective member of a diverse team, as well as the ability to exercise independence, sound judgement and initiative by applying critical thinking and lateral problem-solving skills in overcoming obstacles within tight timeframes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
- Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
- Numerate with the ability to understand data and to interpret it in a lateral manner.
