Civil Site Supervisor

1) Civil Site Supervisor (Solar Background) Job Summary: Manages a construction site, including subcontractors, workers, and operators. Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring health and safety standards are implemented, conducting safety meetings, and inspecting equipment, work areas, and methods.
• Creating work schedules that balance labor and machine hours, and ensuring everyone works their shifts.
• Supervising workers and subcontractors, and assigning duties and responsibilities.
• Maintaining records of workers' time and payroll, and completing records for site reports.
• Attending site management meetings.
• Helping project managers plan work, and organizing the work plan for volunteer crews.
• Maintaining quality control and ensuring work is carried out safely. Site supervisors should understand construction drawings and work with construction management software, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the renewables sector required and project experience.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Bachelor in Civil Engineering (would be an added advantage).
• Able to converse in English and Malay.
• Knowledge of local licensing and standard design/construction practices.
• Knowledge in PVSYST, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
• Project management skills.
• Be able to station on site to manage the workers and sub-contractors, coordinate with the main contractor and consultants.
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
