ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco. Inheriting DHL's logistics excellence and Saudi Aramco's extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth. ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. In the short term, our focus customers will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, we aim to expand our reach across all industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. Objective The Commercial Controlling Manager, reporting directly to the Investment and Commercial Controlling Director, is responsible for leading ASMO's investment activities and driving optimal financial performance. This role involves planning and managing all aspects of investment operations to achieve organizational objectives and maximize profitability. The role holder will also oversee customer relationship management, ensuring professional and effective engagement to maintain and enhance high-level client relationships. General Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and execution of the department's short- to mid-term strategic plans to align with departmental priorities and corporate goals.
Assist in developing annual business plans to support financial and strategic objectives.
Monitor, control, and report key performance indicators for the department and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Develop detailed and feasible investment plans approved by shareholders.
Execute investments as per plans to maximize returns on secured funding.
Manage funds across equity instruments within KSA, interact with investors, and liaise with clients to assess financial planning needs.
Oversee market monitoring activities and ensure periodic reporting on market information and equity fund performance.
Assess market environments, monitor changes in external policies, and evaluate their impact on equity investment decisions.
Ensure all transactions, offerings, processes, and policies comply with CMA and regulatory requirements.
Review financial documents (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, business plans) for informed decision-making.
Evaluate the feasibility of asset acquisitions and analyse risk and return options in collaboration with the Director of Accounting.
Direct the implementation, negotiation, and monitoring of asset programs to enhance revenue and asset values through efficiencies and savings.
Conduct financial due diligence for all investment opportunities.
Oversee team activities to ensure efficient workflow aligned with annual business plans, policies, and procedures.
Manage the performance of team members by setting objectives and providing mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.
Identify and address employees training and development needs, collaborating with HR to enhance skills and competencies.
Contribute to defining an optimal organizational structure for the department to ensure smooth operational processes and resource utilization.
Provide input for the departmental budget, monitor financial performance, and recommend corrective actions for areas of unsatisfactory performance.
Implement change initiatives for systems, processes, and practices aligned with international best practices.
Recommend and implement improvements to departmental procedures, policies, systems, and controls to meet ASMO's standards and compliance requirements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for systems, processes, and practices to boost operational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experiences

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
9 years experience in the same Field, out of which 3 years at a supervisory position or similar level.
At least 4 years experience in managing and executing investments, preferably in the procurement and logistics sectors.
CFA / CISI / ACCA preferred.
Strong expertise in strategy formulation, operational governance, and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in analysing trends, data, and business metrics to drive informed decision-making.
Advanced communication and presentation skills in English.
Strategic planning and thinking.
Exceptional project management and change management capabilities.
Influencing and facilitation skills to align diverse stakeholders.
