We are looking for a QSHE Specialist to join our National Office in Doha, Qatar !
**Your Role **:QSHE Specialist is responsible to ensure that the KN QSHE Management System is followed across the country and to establish, manage and implement documentation for the specified geographic area. And also control any changes according to QSHE requirements, policy of the company and local laws & regulations. You will be responsible to recommend, propose any improvement in all QSHE aspects and ensure QSHE targets are met on Country level. You will keep management informed about QSHE integrated management system performance. Additionally you will also evaluate and control of all hazards to ensure safe, healthy and accident-free work environment and promote the awareness of environmental safety and health among all employees.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to executive policy and regional strategy and provide sustainable competitive advantage for Kuehne + Nagel Qatar.
- Liaise with managers from all business and functional unit throughout the Qatar organization to ensure that the QSHE + Security system is properly implemented and liaise with external parties on matters relating to QSHE + Security where necessary, i.e. with customers, authorities, certification bodies and suppliers.
- Develop, implement and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards (i.e. Advantics Audit Tool, TIP, GFCC, etc.).
- Monitor performance in relevant areas according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate, advice, assist according to performance levels and report as necessary on changes in standards and on performance against standards.
- Execute QSHE audits, Participate at regular inspections, audits (in-and external), and client assessments.
- Ensure adequate Quality, Safety & Health related services based on customers' requirements, analyze Customer related claims and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure an ongoing interface between the suppliers and Kuehne+Nagel´s quality representatives.
Identify proactively quality issues and to put in place corrective actions and measures.
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field. (Experience in Freight Forwarding or Oil&Gas Logistics is a plus).
- ISO9001 / ISO14001 auditor certificate is preferred.
- NEBOSH Training is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to convince.
- Must display a can-do attitude along with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Has to be able to provide leadership via a matrix organization and demonstrate they are a strong team player.
- Advanced level of English
