PDPL Compliance Engineer

Position: PDPL Compliance EngineerLocation: RiyadhType: Full-time

Are you passionate about data privacy and ensuring compliance with data protection laws? We are looking for a PDPL Compliance Engineer to join our team and help manage our data protection frameworks, ensuring adherence to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and related regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data protection policies to ensure PDPL compliance.

Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaborate across teams to ensure data protection by design in all systems.

Monitor and audit data processing activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead incident response activities and manage data breach response plans.

Provide guidance and training on PDPL compliance and best practices.

Stay updated on data protection laws and adjust company policies as needed.

Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding data protection practices.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in data protection or information security.

Strong knowledge of PDPL, GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations.

Experience with privacy risk management and compliance audits.

Familiarity with data protection technologies and DLP tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Relevant certifications like CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT are a plus.
