Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct thorough due diligence investigations to mitigate legal risks associated with business transactions.
- Stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, and legal precedents to provide informed legal advice.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder agreements, and adherence to company policies.
- Manage legal disputes efficiently and cost-effectively, seeking amicable resolutions whenever possible.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to achieve optimal results.
- Build and maintain new and existing client relationships both internally and externally.
- Perform and conduct legal research and analysis based on the case at hand and provide profound legal advice.
- Work with minimal supervision and take an initiative approach in solving complex problems.
- Provide general paralegal support to the in-house corporate team.
- A legal bachelor’s degree is necessary; a master’s degree or other appropriate postgraduate credentials are advantageous.
- 4 years of proven law experience in the UAE.
- Must be bilingual (English, Arabic); Spanish will be an added advantage.
- Strong foundation in legal skills, including drafting, writing, negotiation, and project management.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities to offer legal counsel and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A can-do attitude and ability to take constructive criticism.
- A team player with the ability to adapt in any situation.
