What the role is: Centre for Educational Development - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer What you will be working on: Undertake projects on review and formulation of academic policies, in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Perform secretariat related tasks for committee/meetings/projects on academic policy matters including vetting of minutes, training of staff in the preparation of agenda and recording of minutes, reviewing relevant documents, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Plan, design, and deliver professional development programs that enhance the teaching effectiveness of academic staff, focusing on active learning, learner-centric approaches, and blended learning strategies. Lead and conduct research projects related to teaching and learning and use research findings to inform the design and improvement of teaching strategies and practices. Provide guidance to Schools on academic policy matters, and perform tasks related to academic services as required. Conduct policy evaluation studies to assess the effectiveness of academic policies and recommend improvements based on data and stakeholder feedback. What we are looking for: Relevant qualification with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in academic policy work, academic research, and educational staff development in an educational institution. Possess relevant experience in secretariat duties. Excellent communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills. Meticulous with good analytical and critical thinking skills, positive work attitude, and excellent time management skills. Able to work both independently and in a team, and manage multiple tasks/projects within the same time period.
