Overview

As a Product Owner within the TV Platforms Product team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic product integrations with key partners. Your focus will be on enhancing our customer experience and expanding our product offerings through seamless collaboration with third-party partners. This role requires a strong blend of product management expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Collaborate with Identified Partners: Engage with selected partners to gain a deep understanding of their platforms, identifying critical product touchpoints and integration opportunities.

Facilitate effective communication to ensure mutual understanding of technical requirements and business objectives.

Establish and Agree on Integration Strategies: Develop and propose comprehensive product integration approaches that align with both internal goals and partner capabilities.

Negotiate and finalize the integration plan, ensuring all parties are aligned on timelines & expected outcomes.

Define and maintain a well-organized product backlog that reflects the integration priorities and overall product strategy.

Work with the development team to create a clear definition of "done" and define releases.

Own and manage the product backlog and clearly express Product Backlog items.

Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, showing what the Development Team will work on next, as well as showing sufficient items and provisional priorities for the next few releases.

Work with stakeholders to create a clear definition of what is needed that is translated into final requirements for the development team.

Validate requirements in the form of user stories coming from stakeholders and where necessary reject requirements that do not have proper justification, urgency, feasibility and do not contribute value to the product.

Ensure the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.

Together with the team perform demos and training sessions on products and new features to stakeholders and wider audiences if required.

Ensure that adequate and fully up-to-date product documentation and product information is always available.

Ensure knowledge on assigned product(s) is up to date and complete. Be aware of competition's product offerings, new trends, and developments.

Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging experiences.

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.

Requirements

Minimum of bachelor's degree preferably in business studies or technology.

3+ years' experience in a software product owner role.

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.

In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
