Business Segment: Business & Commercial BankingLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30To lead, develop and manage credit evaluation and credit risk management teams in support of Business, Agri, Entrepreneur, & Enterprise segments ("the Segments") asset growth targets for a Local Market of Region within a province. To comprehensively manage the credit risk of the lending portfolio of "the Segments" for the Local Market, specifically in respect of originations, assessment of credit risk, sanctions, credit risk management, account maintenance and distressed and high-risk accounts in keeping with the BCB credit policies, guidelines and risk appetite. Supports and proactively leads the team to support business partners and ecosystem methodology in understanding and meeting client lending needs, ultimately supporting the Universal Financial Services Organisation aspiration.To have overall responsibility for a designated Segment and to champion/sponsor all strategies and processes related thereto.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsType of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Business/Legal or Credit degree or similar qualificationExperience RequiredCredit Risk - BCBRisk & Corporate AffairsMore than 10 years of credit evaluations experience, preferably across Business, Entrepreneur, Lifestyle and Personal segments. Deep understanding of credit principles and financial statements, particularly as relates to Business Lending. Understands collateral, credit risk and collections processes. Previous experience in managing a team responsible for the account management of a lending portfolio from a risk/credit perspective. Previous people management experience.
