Job Summary: We are seeking a suitable candidate for the post of Senior Design Engineer to join our Highway team. The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of highway projects, ensuring that all designs meet both regulatory standards and client specifications. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for highway projects, including pavement design.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical persons, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Responsible for working in detail design and drawing of highways, reviewing and approve design drawings and documents prepared by junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure that all designs consider safety, environmental, and sustainability factors.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support during design period.
• Stay updated with the latest engineering practices, technologies, and trends in highway design.
• Prepare and present technical reports to clients and regulatory bodies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Extensive experience in highway design, preferably with a focus on major roadway and highway projects.
• Having minimum experience of 8years in designing in the highway projects of Nordic Countries.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Novapoint (Preferrable), Openroad and other engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
• Project management skills and experience in leading design teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
